Whether you are religious or not you must admit that some of us (if not all of us, at sometime in our lives) are just up to no good.

So what is the opposite of good, evil? What is evil?

Is it simply the absence of good or something more destructive? What or who is behind it?

Is it genetic? Can it be altered/fixed/reversed or is one doomed to be evil for the rest of one’s life?

Is either “God” or the “Devil” involved?

If there is one common day for us all to come together, regardless of our religions and beliefs and our cultural differences, it’s today.

Our little planet, like our individual homes, needs us to keep it free of garbage, pollutants and poisons. It needs us to plant more trees instead of cutting them down. It needs us keep the water supply free of industrial and pharmaceutical waste…..

Many of us already know exactly what it is we need to do. Some of us are actually doing it.

Some of us need reminding, yet others, totally oblivious to the harm that they are doing, need informing.

Here are just a few examples of what our family is doing:

We use biodegradeable and earth-friendly cleaning products.

We compost our food scraps.

We use water saving devices such as low-flow toilets and faucets.

We drive the smallest car we can fit our family in.

We grow trees, shrubs, and flowers instead of lawns. Lawns require so much more water, fertilizers, mowers, weed whackers and blowers.
